Delaques in the 1970's was well known for representing urban marketplaces, buses, and bars filled with drinking and dancing Ghanaians. Professor Ato Delaquis is one of Ghana's foremost artists exhibiting extensively in West Africa and internationally including New York: Berg and in London (UK) Africa Centre.
